The cottage is ‘upside-down’ in construction to take advantage of the views from the west-facing picture window in the lounge. The main entrance is through the private enclosed garden to the rear. Quality garden furniture is provided ( a bench in winter and table/chairs at other times ). We feed the birds on a regular basis and you are likely to see many of the tit family, nuthatches, tree-creepers, wrens and squirrels! Other regular sightings are Buzzards, Jays and Woodpeckers.
The main door leads into the porch/utility room which is fitted with a freezer and washer/drier together with plenty of space for coats and boots. Two steps up lead to the kitchen with a built under oven and fridge, dishwasher, microwave and ceramic hob with extractor fan overhead. There are fully fitted base and wall units to give plenty of storage in a modern cream shaker style with a walnut block work effect worktop.
From the kitchen a door leads into the lounge /dining room. For your entertainment we provide a TV/DVD Combi, Freesat, radio/CD player, books, games and magazines. The lounge has a fully fitted wool carpet, quality pine furniture and a comfortable double sofa.
Stairs lead down from the lounge to the bedroom which has a double bed with a king size quilt in a suitable TOG rating for the time of year. In winter we also provide an electric blanket. There is a pine wardrobe with ample hangers; a large chest of drawers and a fully fitted wool carpet. A hairdryer and bedside clock are provided. The patio door leads to a raised seating area to the front of the cottage.
The modern en-suite shower room has a white sink, toilet and Showerlux cubicle with a MIRA Sport shower unit. The walls and floor are tiled in a natural finish.
