The cottage is 'upside-down' in construction to take advantage of the view from the picture window in the lounge. Access is to the back of the property up a series of flagged steps to the rear garden . This area has a paved patio with garden furniture, a selection of planters and a small shrub border. It is fully enclosed

The door leads into the entrance porch/utility area where there is space for coats and boots, etc. There is a freezer and washer/drier also in this space. The floor is tiled for practical purposes.

From here, up two steps, there is a door into the kitchen. The kitchen is in a cream shaker style and comes with a built- in double oven, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a microwave and ceramic hob. The kitchen equipment is of good quality including Denby pottery and le Creuset cookware. We provide consumables such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing machine detergent.

From the kitchen you enter the lounge/dining area. This is furnished with solid oak furniture and has a fully fitted carpet. Freeview TV and SKY HD are provided along with free WiFi, i-pod dock, a double sofa and a pine 'grandad' chair. The picture window is west facing and looks over the grounds.

Stairs lead down from the lounge to the double bedroom and en-suite shower room. The bedroom has a fully fitted carpet. There are a solid oak wardrobe and chest of drawers. A set of french doors lead out to the front of the property where is a small patio with seating. The en-suite is fully tiled with white sanitary ware and was fully renovated in 2019.

The cottage is all electric the cost of which is included in the rental. Heating is mainly by night storage heaters with additional appliances including a heated towel rail in the en-suite and an electric stove in the lounge.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rental.
