A Warm Welcome Awaits You
A delightful cottage for two in a peaceful village location with good access to The Lakes and Morecambe Bay. It stands in a corner of the walled kitchen garden formerly belonging to Eversley, a large house built in 1859, and is part of the original Victorian potting shed. The cottage has uninterrupted views to the front over the owner's grounds which extend to a little over 3 acres. The garden to the front of the cottage is mainly lawn set with mature trees and shrubs. There are drifts of snowdrops in winter followed by primroses, daffodils and bluebells. The grounds are available for our guests to enjoy. The old Japanese garden with its pond is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the view on a warm evening and is the site of the Maple trees after which the cottage is named.
Maple Cottage is personally maintained by the owner to a high standard and benefits from a continuous policy of improving the facilities on offer. We aim to provide a comfortable, clean and well equipped property so you can enjoy your holiday to the full.
