Maple Cottage is situated in the hamlet of Leasgill which is approximately 2 miles north of Milnthorpe and 6 miles south of Kendal just off the A6 close to Levens Hall. We are approx. 5miles from Junction 36 of M6.
The cottage stands next to, but is separate from, the owner’s home and has access via a private drive. Private parking is available outside the cottage.
There is a good selection of local shops in Milnthorpe including a quality butcher, bakers, greengrocer, newsagent, chemist, Spar, Post Office and banks. In the adjoining village of Heversham ( 1/2 mile) The Blue Bell Hotel serves food either in the bar or restaurant. There are several other very good Restaurants and Inns close to the property.
